Service Description

If your pregnancy is high-risk, you’re hospitalized or on bedrest your pregnancy may feel out of your control, but this high-risk pregnancy childbirth education course is designed to prepare you for your birth experience and the possibility of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit interventions and experience that will immediately follow the birth of your child. We will discuss the birth process, the role of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine team and the role of the Neonatal Intensive Care doctors. Understanding the processes that follow a high-risk delivery ensure you’re as informed as possible during delivery and can eliminate as much extraneous stress as possible during the birth of your child.
