Alternative or Home Birthing Education

Service Description

This childbirth education course is preparing parent(s) and support partners who are interested in alternative birthing methods that avoid interference in the natural birth process or for individuals who would like to deliver in The Alternative Birthing Center located in Women and Infant’s hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. We will focus on relaxation and mindfulness techniques and partner support at each stage of labor. It’s important to design a birth plan that works for you and your family. This course will honor that plan and explore other birthing options if the parent(s) would like that information.
